As dog lovers, it is important to us that the welfare of our breeding dogs and all of our puppies is our first priority. As such we have designed our breeding program to align with the RSPCA’s standards for responsible breeders and abide by the strict, ethical code of practice.

​We are passionate about matching each puppy with a forever home that will support and nurture their needs. In return, we believe, this means each new family will get a puppy that fits well with their lifestyle and their own needs.

The Boho Oodles application and the puppy evaluation process allows me to make recommendations on the most suitable puppy for your lifestyle and home environment.

Below are some of the features of our program that set us apart from other breeders
All our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive genetic and health testing prior to joining our program to ensure they are fit for the program and to give their puppies the best start in life.
​
Boho puppies are healthy and have been born and raised in a caring environment.
They receive regular veterinary care to ensure they are thriving and are fed only premium foods.
Health Testing & Quality Care
Boho puppies are raised in a home environment and receive lots of love and attention.
Using the Empowered Breeders (BAB) curriculum, puppies are carefully introduced to new environments, obstacles, noises, stimulation, and handling through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) forming the building blocks for a well-rounded dog.

We are here to provide ongoing support and advice for you and your new puppy throughout its lifetime.

When you purchase a Boho Puppy you become part of the Boho family and gain access to our Boho Tribe members-only area which has a stack of useful resources, and provides a platform to connect with litter-mates and other Boho puppies.
Limited Litters
We work closely with a reproductive veterinary specialist and are guided by their advice when breeding our dogs.
Boho mums are not bred until they reach full adult physical development and have had at least one heat cycle. ​
Once ready for breeding, our mums will only ever have a maximum of three litters before they retire from the breeding program to live out their days with their guardian families.
​All of our dogs and puppies receive regular health checks, are vaccinated and wormed, and are provided socialisation and enrichment opportunities.
​
At Boho Oodles we do not subscribe to early desexing, however, all puppies are sold with a desexing contract that requires them to undergo the spay/neuter procedure at an appropriate age based on vet advice.
Wellbeing
Guardianship Program
We don't believe dogs should be kept in a kennel environment, or for the sole purpose of breeding.
For this reason, we carefully select loving guardian homes, where breeding dogs live with their forever families. They are valued members of their families, reside indoors, and life full lives.
Once they retire from the Boho breeding program they are desexed and live out their retirement with their families.

Registrations and Memberships
As a responsible and ethical dog breeder, Boho Oodles is registered with the Queensland Government breeder registration scheme designed to combat puppy farms and backyard breeders. By registering we are agreeing to comply with the Queensland Animal Welfare Standards and Guidelines for Breeding Dogs and their Progeny.
​In addition, we are also registered with the Responsible Pet Breeders Association and are Right Paws verified. We use Orivet to health test our dogs and raise our puppies the Empowered Breeder (BAB) way.
