The                Story

Boho Oodles was born out of my life-long love of dogs and a desire to share the magic of the unique human-canine bond with others.​

My first dog, a Toy Poodle became my best friend as the youngest of three children, when my older siblings left home.  Several dogs later, in my late 30's burning out from years of working in disaster and emergency management and a year into the COVID pandemic I got my first Groodle.  She came to work with me every day and it quickly become clear the therapeutic effect she had on the call centre team providing psychological first aid to people in mandatory quarantine.  It was at this point in 2020 I began thinking about a change to my career and three years later, after a career pivot to achieve a better work-life balance and a LOT of research and planning I launched Boho Oodles and welcomed my first litter of Double Doodles in 2023.​

I am committed to breeding for temperament and sound health, with a long-term vision to contribute meaningfully to the community. As Boho Oodles grows, I plan to donate a puppy from each litter to become a support or therapy dog for a family or organisation in need. This is a project close to my heart, and one I am approaching with care to ensure each pup is well-suited for the important work ahead.
